Our Mission
The mission of Bulgaria Innovation Hub (“BIH”) is to foster knowledge exchange and cross-cultural collaboration between the entrepreneurial communities in the US and Bulgaria in order to drive innovation, growth and human development. We are driven by the purpose to advance Bulgarian technology startups and help them become competitive global leaders that create jobs, build sustainable communities and drive economic growth and social impact in Bulgaria. We are intentional about cultivating an entrepreneurial and growth mindset and fostering a pay-it-forward culture to sustain the change.
Our Vision
Our vision is to bridge the knowledge gap between Bulgaria and Silicon Valley. We aim to accelerate collaboration, drive innovation, scientific and technical research, exchange of knowledge, provide inspiration, elevate education, and economic development in Bulgaria while promoting the country as a cultural and business destination to US companies and partners.

Our Story
Bulgaria Innovation Hub was born through the vision and hard work of a lot of people, who genuinely care for Bulgaria’s economic and social prosperity.
Bogomil Balkansky, our President and Honorary Council of Bulgaria has been the biggest driving force behind the initiative. For years he wholeheartedly supported aspiring entrepreneurs in establishing a market presence in the US through critical guidance and key connections. With a group of friends at the end of 2018, he founded Bulgaria Innovation Hub, a two-way bridge connecting Bulgaria and Silicon Valley.
Our stories are different but the purpose is one: build a roadmap to success for aspiring change-makers and curious minds who dare to dream big and are passionate about creating an impact.
We believe in giving more and giving back to our roots. Together we build bridges and alliances that empower Bulgarian entrepreneurs to become global business and community leaders.
